We are seeking a talented and dedicated Manual QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through manual testing. You will work closely with our development team to identify and report bugs, create test plans, and perform manual testing to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

The position requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Codertal.

To apply for this position, you need to be based in Romania.

We offer B2B collaborations, which means you need to have a SRL or PFA entity.

Our daily rates for this position are between 100 – 500 euros per day based on the experience.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field;

– 2+ years of experience in manual software testing;

– Knowledge of testing methodologies and processes;

– Experience with web and mobile application testing;

– Experience with defect tracking tools (such as JIRA);

– Familiarity with SQL and ability to write basic queries;

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

– Strong attention to detail;

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

– Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts;

– Identify and report defects and issues found during testing;

– Work closely with developers to understand the product and its features to design effective test cases;

– Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications;

– Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications;

– Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the product to ensure comprehensive testing;

– Collaborate with the development team to ensure that bugs are fixed and testing is thorough;

– Monitor and report on the progress of testing activities;

– Assist in the development and maintenance of QA documentation;

– Continuously improve the quality assurance process;

Technologies:

– Manual testing methodologies;

– Test case management tools such as TestRail and Zephyr;

– Bug tracking tools such as JIRA and Bugzilla;

– Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
