🚀 About the Role
Codertal is looking for a thoughtful and knowledgeable AI Ethicist to guide the ethical development, deployment, and governance of AI systems. You will ensure fairness, transparency, accountability, and alignment with human values across AI-powered solutions.
Your work will help Codertal’s international clients adopt responsible AI practices, reduce risks, and design systems that prioritize societal wellbeing and regulatory compliance.
🔎 Key Responsibilities
✅ Develop and maintain ethical guidelines for AI development and deployment.
✅ Evaluate AI systems for bias, fairness, transparency, and accountability.
✅ Work closely with AI/ML teams to ensure responsible model design and data usage.
✅ Conduct risk assessments related to privacy, safety, and societal impact.
✅ Support compliance with global AI regulations and standards (EU AI Act, GDPR, ISO).
✅ Educate cross-functional teams on ethical best practices and responsible AI principles.
✅ Advocate for human-centered, trustworthy AI throughout the product lifecycle.
🎯 Required Skills and Experience
✔️ Proven experience in AI Ethics, Responsible AI, or AI Governance.
✔️ Strong understanding of ethical frameworks, data protection principles, and regulatory requirements.
✔️ Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, model behaviors, and the impact of algorithmic biases.
✔️ Experience conducting AI audits, risk analysis, or compliance reviews.
✔️ Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.
✔️ Background in Ethics, Law, Philosophy, AI, Social Sciences, or related fields.
✔️ Intermediate to high level of English.
✔️ Must be located within the European Union.
